According to Travel & Leisure magazine issued July,
announced the winners of the World’s Best City Awards 2012 by the readers of
this magazine. Bangkok grabbed this award for the third year, followed by
Florence, Istanbul, Cape Town, Sydney, Rome, New York City, Hong Kong, Kyoto
and Paris. So, if we are talking about impact of tourism in society that comes
with reputation. What do you think about it? In my opinion, there are two sides
impact of tourism in society; good side and bad side.First, for about good side of reputation after get this
award. It can increase revenue to citizen in country and can grow GDP as well.
Moreover, it have made everyone in the world know more about Thailand; culture,
food, custom, and famous place. Many ancient places were repaired by Fine Arts
Department.Second, for about bad side of reputation after get this
award. Wherever have many travelers that absolutely too many garbage to destroy
the nature. And accommodation is the main factor to destroy it like a resort,
hotel because they would like to support many travelers that come from
worldwide.The last still talk about bad side concern with law. In my
opinion, if our country don’t strict the law that cause of easier transnational
crime. And make the other country afraid and distrustful in our country.However, there is neither good side nor bad side. We should
do everything best for our country that get the World’s Best City Awards 2012
for the third year. We love Thailand. Bangkok is 'World's Best City'
